Fiction applicants: 20 pages of short fiction or a novel excerpt Poetry applicants: 8-10 poems Translation applicants: 5-6 pages of poetry OR fiction translated into English, together with copies of the original texts
Please note: there is no application fee at this stage of the process. Initially, applications will be evaluated solely on the merits of the writing. You should not apply for admission to the UA Graduate School at this time. |
Wait for a response. If we respond favorably to your application, we will then provide you with the application forms for the UA Graduate School.

Please note: All application materials are destroyed at the close of each admissions cycle. New materials -- including test scores and letters of recommendation -- must be sent each year that you apply.
